Locca - screen lock 28

Locca is a lightweight application that offers screen locking functionality without any advertisements. You have several ways to activate Locca:

• By tapping the launcher icon or 1x1 widget on your home screen or app drawer.
• Touching the floating icon from any screen.
• Swiping up from the Home button (pre-Android 6.0) or holding the Home button (Android 6.0 and later) using the Google Now gesture or Assistant gesture.
• Tapping Locca's notification.
• Tapping on Locca's Quick Settings tiles (from Android 7.0 onwards). To activate these tiles, pull down twice from your status bar, tap the Edit (pencil) icon, and drag "Lock screen" or "Screen off" from "Drag to add tiles."

Before using this application, take into account:

• This application requires the Device Administrator permission. Like other screen locking apps, Locca needs to be activated as a device administrator under Settings > Security > Device administrators. You will receive a prompt to do so the first time you use the screen locking feature. If you encounter difficulties removing the application, disable it under Device administrator.
• If you have set up a secure lock screen, using the screen locking feature will require a PIN or pattern when unlocking your device the next time. If you prefer unlocking via fingerprint, utilize the screen off feature instead.
• On Android versions 8.1 and below, due to Android's limitations, Locca bypasses the lock screen by displaying a black screen and reducing the screen timeout. As a result, on Android 6.0 and above, it needs permission to modify system settings.
• Starting from Android 9.0, this application relies on Android's accessibility service APIs to turn off the screen while retaining fingerprint unlock functionality.
• On Android 6.0 onwards, applications require your consent to draw over other applications. For Locca, you will be prompted for approval when enabling the floating lock icon.
